Giselher's Rede zur Gedenkfeier vom 10. Mai 2019
Hallo liebe Homins und liebe Freunde von Mai,
Wie ihr seht bin ich Giselher, der letzte Gildie von Tyneetryk's Tears und hoher Offizier unserer geliebten Mai.
In den letzten zwei Jahren verbrachte ich mit Mai nahezu jeden Tag hier auf Atys und darum möchte ich nun ein paar Erinnerungen mit euch über sie teilen.
Ich habe ein paar Worte vorbereitet und werde diese Zeile für Zeile hier ins Chatfenster hinein kopieren; Bitte hört zu:

Silan... Ja, zu jener Zeit konnte man Teeneemai dort nicht antreffen, da sie bereits auf das Hauptland gereist war. So las mich die schöne Minimei, ein weiterer ihrer charismatischen Charaktere, dort auf
Ich war auf dem Weg zu dem riesigen Kirosta mit einer spontan gebildeten Gruppe von Homins
Am Eingang des Kitindschungels sah ich dann diese merkwürdige Trykerin. Eine Lady mit pinken Haaren und einem süßen Namen, wie aus einem Comic gestohlen... .-D
ABER! Mit einem Sack voller hilfreichen Tipps für die Kriegergruppe!
Sie sprach mich an, und ich lief Gefahr, den Anschluss an meine Gruppe zu verlieren, die immer noch direkt auf den Kirosta lief.
Erst wollte ich der Spielergruppe folgen, doch nach einigen Schritten sah ich noch immer ihre Blicke auf mir. Ich hielt an und schaute nach hinten...…
Ich versuchte mich hinter einem dieser Hügel dort zu verstecken. Aber sie behielt mich immer noch im Auge... ...Eine Minute später kehrte ich um und stand erneut vor ihr.. Oh man, was sollte ich ihr denn sagen ... ?? :-D

Okay, heute weiß ich, dass sie lediglich dachte, dass dieser Typ dringend Hilfe mit dem Ryzomspiel brauchte ... :-D
So ging diese Geschichte weiter: Sie fragte mich, ob sie mich trainieren sollte, und ich stimmte zu. Nun musste ich Silan verlassen und auch ihrer Gilde beitreten. Auf dem Hauptland angekommen übernahm nun Mai mit ihrem Teeneemai-Avatar das Training. She was honestly with me, because she told me from the beginning about her terminated illness. So we played always under macabre circunstances, because of her awful pains all the time. But I was firmly determined to leave her never and carry on with her until the end…
One day she fell into my arms (Yes, it is possible ingame!), after what I fell into love with her… :-D
I got the idea maybe my love can comfort her a little… I know now, it is a dangerous way and I had discussions and struggles about this in real-life and ingame, too…
...but I will be honest I could just not resist, and I used it as a powerful „tool“ for getting more empathy for that situation, too.
From that time on nobody would be able to count all my tears; But know, tears will clean the thoughts. And cleaning thoughts are needed for finding honestly words…
So the things went on, day after day. Mostly we played between around 13 and 18 o‘clock. Mai trained me to some masters over the month in spite of all her discomfort. And my knowledge and experience about Atys grown, too.
I told her: Wherever I go, I‘m whispering your name in the wind … my dear Mai…
You are always in my heart, and so if I go out you can see what I see… just theoretically.
So she was able to see the Baltic Sea for example; And two times she was also in the winterly montains of Austria… I sent her a lot of photos and anecdotes from my trips, envirements and doings, because she couldn‘t do any trip anymore for years...
A bad thing I have to tell you, too: I had to learn to share her... :-/
because of her hot engagement for the problems of all those other homins on Atys… Indeed, she was our favourite! …
And in addition, you will already guess it, I was not alone wanting to get her as my friend… .-D
For two times over these two years she was in the hospice for some weeks,
and for two times she could win that awful struggle and could return to her beloved Atys.
But now the final curtain is fallen at this third time…
The last time I met her on Atys was at Atysmas 2018 the 23th december, that day before when she entered the hospice again.
In the morning of the 24th I sent her a merry christmas mail with a funny screenshot artwork of our training the month‘s before.
She wrote to me at the afternoon on 24th. then:
„My dear Giselher,
Thank you for your lovely greeting. It cheered me up when I read it and saw the image.
I received the phone call from the Hospice at 10 am today. I am now in the Hospice and I am looking forward to my treatment starting tomorrow.
I will try to send you updates on my progress.
I am also looking forward to being back on Atys with you.

Oh my… I hope her lovely words will also touch your hearts, dear friends of our Mai...
You see, at that time we were full of hoping for her return after some weeks maybe... like the year before.
But this time the things changed not to a good way and I received more and more bad news about some complications.
So her final words to me were from 20th April:
„My dear Giselher and Thomas,
It is getting very hard for me so I will just wish you a Happy Easter.
love and hugs Mai“
Now a word from me to heaven:
Oh my dear Mai,
I‘m sure, you got in well;
As I told you, now you can be with your sweethearts again… :-)
and drinking wine, too; In that way you liked it before your illness.
And you know it already:
You were not only the leader on Atys for me;
Because you did also the last path before me, you gave me an mighty item on earth, too:
Namely a fear-killer.
That day when the death will knock on my door, I will give him just a smile:
Do your Job quickly, please!
I‘m looking forward cos soon I will meet my dear Mai again...
