Hello Zorroargh ;-)
Yes i can translate it into german.
CSS per page?
Hello Zorroargh!
What do you think about adding this extension: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CSS
The good thing: you can add some individual CSS for design proposes. Sometimes it is really helpful.
For example, you can add a css-file under Silan_Anleitung/Silan_Anleitung.css and put {{#css:Silan_Anleitung/silan_anleitung.css}} in Silan_Anleitung.
Everywhere where you put {{#css:Silan_Anleitung/silan_anleitung.css}} in the article i.e. the css will work.
OR
add it directly into the article:
{{#css:
body {
background: yellow;
font-size: 20pt;
color: red;
}
}}
It would only work for the article, not the theme itself.

- So fine! I'm very happy to read your idea I share totally.
- In my mind, I was hopping to have time to work on the css, Using as far as possible HTML5 and as less as possible Java.
- And in my idea it would be fine to have the same look for the wikis of Ryzom. Not only to be more harmonized but to show that ryzom family is One :)
- What about to do it for instance for German Silan manual, to improve the template, and extend it after to all the website?
- Tell me if you need more rights to do it.
- I'm very short in my answer, I have medical appointment

- Glad to hear, that you share my idea. I fully agree that there should be a common template for all wikis. To add the extension i really need more rights, but i guess you can do it also? Sure why not making an example and expand it to all wikis. But the CSS-Extension don't work as a template so far as i know, but it can be done like this. There i need to figure, how it would work in practice, but first the extension needs to be added. ;-)

- I have no root rights neither owner rights neither ftp accesses. Always I have to ask to Ulukyn, for things out of my power. Till now, it wasn't a problem. May be in the future, it would be more necessary. Ftp access would be useful for now, so I'll ask him. I'll tell you the progress.

- Thanks. The case why i am asking about the CSS-Extension is: Fake CSS like .foo:hover doesn't work in style="" parameters. So there have to be a css file or inline stylesheet for this. It would be useful if you move your mouse over a link and see a picture i.e. Thats what i had in mind.

Fixed texts on a picture
I made now successfully a template to add clickable (hyperlink) and with overlay on a picture.
Here you can see for what it will be used for:
Silan-Anleitung#Die_Silan_Karte
Template:
Vorlage:Silan Karte Positionen
Maybe add this also to other Wikis?
To let it work the right way, the picture have to be the exact same width and height. Then the positions can just copy and paste. You don't have to make a new picture and just add a new point on the map via template.
The template parameters are in german atm. I can translate it if it will be used.

- OK, why not? :)
- First, for translation, we can do it only from DE to EN.
- After, when I'm using untranslated general templates for the whole ryzom wiki, I do something like:
- In the translated documentations, I write {{Trad|DE=Vorlage:Silan Karte Positionen|EN=Template:Positions in Silan Map|ES=<same as EN>|FR=<same as En>|RU=<same as EN>}}
- In the others, only: {{Trad|DE=Vorlage:Silan Karte Positionen|EN=Template:Positions in Silan Map|ES=|FR=|RU=}}
- That way indicates that everybody is using the same template, but for ES, FR and RU the only translated are DE and EN. You or I can do it, as you want.
- Later, when people make de translation, of course, he has to change everywhere the content of Trad template.
